Invite users who dont need access?

I want to “invite” users who I dont actually want to access the board. They woudl be free view only but i would assign them for my own tracking but NOT for their tracking.

I would like to associate a phone number and email with the users along with some other info-- again for my own tracking and contact but NOT for them to access.

Is there a way to do that? Do i just create fake emails for each of them and then can i add custom fields to their profile for the real info?

Hey @jpelrman87, i think I tried to help you with something similar before with the ghost “teams” function. Seems like it may not have been sufficient.

Have you tried creating a board where each “item” represents a user and then you have “columns” to hold their email and phone number?

You will then have ability to connect that board where-ever you’d like through the “connect boards column” where you can then assign those users to tasks, plan according to availability in the “workload widget”, and report on all of it.

Yea the issue is connect boards doesn’t really work. Since you can’t (as far as I can tell) dashboard off it. We want to view workload and other things internally and a connect boards doesn’t really allow for filtering and would require us to duplicate a ton of into into new boards to have it format correctly and even then it still
Won’t let us run analytics on it

@jpelrman87 You absolutely can dashboard off it and filter. Notice in my first screenshots, I can select the “connect boards column” as an option for my x axis and y axis. In the second screenshot I filter by the “connect boards column” which is pulling the employee name from the connected employee board.
