I’m wondering if any other Monday.com Work Management users have faced a similar situation…
I’ve set up a Monday.com system for a client who wants all emails sent to their customers to appear in the updates section of the relevant row. The emails are sent by clicking the customer’s address in the Email column, which automatically fills in the CC field with a pulse email address. However, I’ve trained them to delete that pulse address (since it’s for internal use) and instead copy the correct pulse email for external clients using the three dots menu.
This works well as long as the customer uses “Reply All,” but realistically, the chances of customers doing that consistently are slim. To add a layer of complexity, my client is using IONOS for their email, not Gmail or Outlook, which I understand have integrations that could potentially solve this issue.
Does anyone have any smart solutions or workarounds to ensure all email replies from customers are captured in the updates section? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
