Make Emailing Better in Monday.com

Emailing within monday.com is so far ok, but I do believe there is a large room for improvement that’ll help make monday’s email capabilities better!

Feature Requests

  • Create HTML templates
  • Adjust inserted picture size
  • HTML blocks (not just code, but actual HTML blocks) template creation
  • Include option to add subitems within email
  • Add Subitem functionality to also generate as a table or list (with selected subitem columns)
  • Formula and Mirror Column capability
  • Styling and formatting within workflows and automations, not just E&A
  • Template center for all email templates
  • “Auto-assign” related board to email template (otherwise, have to comb each board to match column IDs)
  • Attachments stay in templates
  • Automations/Workflows that trigger email sending with Template (otherwise, create email from scratch OR utilize Sequences)
  • Automated emails go to E&A (when applicable)
  • When selecting templates, completely erase all previous Subject and Body information before inserting new template

Hey @DavidSchenkler Fair requests. If you don’t want to wait for all these requests to be developed by monday. I invite you to check out SuperMail, it’s a marketplace app and you basically described almost accurately all of its functionality. U seen it already or great minds think alike? :laughing:

I totally agree - monday’s native email features are powerful, but sometimes you need more flexibility. One option worth checking out is the Email to Tasks app for monday.com. It lets you turn emails into tasks with all the important details (including attachments) pulled in automatically, and you can create presets that work almost like templates. It’s a nice way to keep things structured and cut down the manual work until more native features are added. Here’s the link if you’d like to see how it works: Email to Tasks for monday.com
