Make Kanban board view having same functionalities as table and list views

Hello,
my team is struggling a lot when using the Kanban view as many existent functionalities in other views as table and list don’t work properly in the kanban board. Those are the most critical ones and would be great to be part of the kanban board soon:

  1. Being able to assign persons directly from the board, without needing to open the item page.
  2. Side-panel view in kanban board is broken. It works only when you click in the “updates” icon or by going through the three dots and clicking “open item”. When you just click directly in the item card in the kanban view, it always opens a pop-up item page, even if the configuration is set to side-view panel. This only happens in the kanban view.
  3. Clicking in the “updates” icon takes us to the first tab of the item’s page and not directly to the “updates” tab as it does when using list and table views.
