We have an extensively custom built CRM and it is slow to fully load at times. I am NOT sure if this is due to the number of columns and subitems, or due to the formulas running (or both). Either way Monday needs to find a way to make page loading quicker in general.
I agree, it is painfully slow. Each time I reach out to support, they just tell me to clear my cache which never resolves anything. It’s not reliable and incredibly buggy, which is limiting user adoption across our org.
I’ve just submitted an issue to the forum about the system lagging. It happened when I was working in a table column which had about 50 drop down items. I don’t select all 50 items at once because it depends on the campaign. Sometimes 5 items are selected from the drop down list, sometimes it’d 20 items that apply. The system would just freeze and not move. I would have to navigate to another board or even close the browser to refresh the data. Very annoying and time consuming. I didn’t clear cache yet, although that was recommended. Hope I don’t have to clear cache each time. Good luck with your issues - hope you got everything resolved!

Troubleshooting steps for a slow monday account:
- do a hard refresh on browser (Ctrl+Shift+R)
- click through each board/dashboard/doc and let it load
- run a speed test
- if you can’t use ethernet make sure you are using the 5GHz channel instead of 2.4GHz, and your wifi adapter is plugged into the USB 3.0 port (if you have one)
- clear cache and cookies
- use chrome, firefox, safari, or microsoft edge browsers
- deactivate any automations that currently aren’t in use
- clean up your board data, and delete any redundant columns
- upgrade your laptop or PC if its greater than 5 years old, or has very low specs
- update your PC/Laptop
- update your modem
- restart your modem
- call your ISP
- migrate your account to a closer server
- lastly (I know its not possible for everyone) consider upgrading to enterprise as “monday.com provides 99.9% uptime commitment for the Core Service as well as some priority support features to its Enterprise Plan”
Would love to know if anyone else has more tips on this topic!

We have the same problem here. EVerything is so slow. We cannot work properly
One thing that I found is that when you are doing a lot of memory intensive operations, Monday gets slow and stays slow. It gets better when I close the browser and gets even better when I restart my computer, so there might be some kind of high load caching occurring in the background. Monday also seems to do a lot of client-side calculations, so this is also a case where having more/better CPU will also be helpful, rather than it being an issue with server/internet space or responses. At the very least, I have seen great performance differences on PC vs. on a laptop. It might not be the most satisfactory solution, as not everyone can just switch up their hardware, but if you have a critical need for Monday to work as well as possible for a particular instance/presentation/whatever, get yourself on the highest performing machine you can.
