We’re at the end of June (…we can’t believe it either
), so you know what time it is - time for our monthly feature wrap-up! We had some releases worth celebrating, so keep your eyes peeled until the end for exciting new releases in their development stages.
As always, please take a look at the release status definitions below for a quick refresher
-
In development - Our team is working on finalizing this feature. We do not have an exact release date, but you can expect to see it soon! That said, development status is subject to change; however, we will keep you updated throughout the month in our community.
-
Gradual Release - This feature is being released gradually; you can expect to see the feature in your account in the coming weeks
-
Released- This feature has been released, and you should see it in your account.
Without further ado, let’s jump right into our
fully released features
for the month:
Transfer automations before disabling the users: This is a fan favorite that we are excited to have released! Admins can now transfer automation ownership of a user before disabling them in the platform. Say goodbye to halted workflows and unnecessary administration - automations are conveniently handed over in 2 clicks
Permission changes on monday.labs (Enterprise): Admins on Enterprise can now moderate who can enable features on their monday accounts. The new permission on the account level, “Examine experimental features using monday.labs,” will allow admins or anyone granted permission by the admin to examine features enabled in monday.labs. This release was in response to growing community feedback, so we hope this is a welcomed update!
New Workforms question format: We are introducing a new 1:1 questions format in Workforms
The upgraded structure enables the submitter to view the questions individually, providing a more intuitive submission experience. No need to scroll and navigate between different questions - a benefit we see relevant for feedback surveys, contact sales forms, registrations, and more!
Additional divide-by options in Kanban: Our users can now divide by additional options when utilizing the Kanban feature! We listened to your feedback and recognized that it was time to expand this option to other column types. As such, you can now divide by ‘status’ and ‘connected boards’ (in the case of a single value only). You can also see the sprint header in the table view for our sprint users! Cool right?!
New CRM mobile item page: This one’s for our trusty sales CRM mobile users! We have upgraded the item page to simplify the experience when accessing item information. The new item page is easy to navigate and much more accessible and straightforward!
Let’s move on to the features that are in
gradual release
As such; some users may see these features while others may not just yet, so keep your eye out
New monday layout: While some of you may have already experienced the simplicity of the new layout, we are excited to announce the rollout of the new and improved monday layout! The new layout fosters a seamless and intuitive user experience by rearranging features and tools to simplify navigation for our product and non-product users. Convenient
Accessible
Straightforward
While we’re here, we also wanted to clarify that mass emailing on sales CRM
is still in gradual release! Please keep an eye on your account - the feature is in the process of being rolled out
Now for a look at some
epic
features currently
in development
(You won’t want to miss this!)
Date column improvements: We know this one has been long awaited, especially within the community, and as such, we are finally making some highly requested changes to the date column UI!
These changes include:
Keyboard inputting and phrasing
Date pick shortcuts for more straightforward navigation
More information to come - so keep this one front of mind!
Board discussions: We are thrilled to announce a massive release that has been a core community feature request for quite some time! Very soon, users will be able to conveniently communicate in the context of a board, adopting the same updates section functionalities, including creating posts and the ability to reply and email to the discussion, as well as set reminders. A dedicated post is on its way, but we hope this sneak peek gets you on the tip of your toes
View lock permissions (Pro + Enterprise): Users will soon be able to lock board views they’ve created and accept the title of view creator . If any other user wishes to make changes or edits to a locked board view, they will need to save them to a new view , as no changes can be applied to a locked view unless you’re the view owner. Board owners will have the ability to lock all views. Say hello to increased visibility, better control and ownership, and improved view customization
Annnnd, that’s it for our new features
In regard to community updates, we wanted you to be the first to know about our exciting weekly office hour sessions coming to the community very soon! This will give a group of community members a chance to ask a couple of their burning questions to our monday experts each week. More details to come, so stay tuned!
