Hi,
we started to use monday.com for organizing the students of our martial arts scholl. Therefore we have created a table with names, start date of membership, end date of membership and some more.
Now we want to get an overview how many students were signed up per month for the past years. Something like:
Jan 2024: 100
Feb 2024: 105
Mar 2024: 107
The data is in the table, but im trying now for hours to create such a report/graph, without success.
Any suggestions?

Hey what about having each month as a group and the number of students as a task? You could then even break down category of students etc if needed within each group?
A dashboard will allow you to plot by group based on the item count?
What do you want the graph or report to look like? What story do you want it to tell?

If it’s a simple line chart, if each item is the month and you have a column for the number of students (attached screenshot), you should be able to create a line chart pretty easily.
Either in a dashboard or on a chart view, choose line chart from the available options.
X axis - Name
Y axis - Number of Students (deselect the count option)
