Option to Turn Off "You're Assigned"

Can you add an option to boards to turn off the “You’re assigned” notifications? My company often uses people columns retroactively to show who worked on something, but we don’t want them to think they have a task to do. The “you’re assigned” notifications just don’t work for every style of board and get really cumbersome when updating hundreds of items!

If you don’t need to see any notifications from that board, you can switch them off using the Notifications option and selecting “Mute all notifications for this board”.

Ah good to know! What if not everyone I’m tagging is actually a “member” of the board. Will it still notify them, or does that turn off notifications for everyone?

The top three options are user based, the bottom option (only a board owner/admin can see this) is a blanket off/on switch for all notifications :slight_smile:
