Issue:
We are experiencing an issue when transferring ownership of Outlook automations in Monday.com. Despite using the “Transfer Ownership” button, the automations fail to function under the new owner. The current workaround is for customers to manually recreate each automation line and re-add Outlook messages, which is inefficient.
Attempted Solution:
The Monday.com chatbot suggested the “Transfer Ownership” feature, but even after transferring, the Outlook automations do not work.
Request:
Please implement a fix so Outlook automations can be successfully transferred without needing to manually recreate them, ensuring a smoother ownership handoff.
Hello,
the Outlook automations work as intended.
These integrations are diffrent due to privacy reasons.
It´s mentioned at the end of tihs article: Managing your automations – Support
The new owner has to recreate the connection. Same for Webhooks etc.
Hello,
Thank you for your response. I’d like to clarify our issue further. When you mention that the new owner needs to “recreate the connection,” are you referring to recreating the entire automation line, or is it supposed to mean that we only need to select the new owner’s Outlook account? In our case, simply selecting the new Outlook account does not resolve the issue; instead, we’re required to recreate the entire automation line to re-establish the connection properly.
