I’m trying to project plan and want to move “people” around w/o adding “real” people. Is there a way to do this? For example can i use “writer” instead of the real person “deanell”? Until I get the board right, which includes timing and changing people out, I don’t want notifications to go out.
Hi @fwoodley - Here’s one way to do it:
Create a Team for each role like Writer. You’ll probably want to put an icon on each one so you can tell them apart easily in the People columns.
When you create the Team, you will be the only member by default, but you can remove yourself so you don’t get bogged down with notifs while you work.
Assign tasks to the empty Team accounts, and then once you are ready to reassign real resources, it will be easy to change all Writer Team assignments to the real users.
I think that sounds fine. I’ll look for instructions on creating a team.
