I would like to be able to set a fixed date and that the notification be repeated every year (for example to program birthday greetings) without having to manually modify the year of each item so that it can be notified again
Hi @Enzneiderr - you can set a custom automation to manage this. For instance:
When Birthday arrives notify Person and push Birthday by 1 year
Thanks
Mark
Are you a bot?
You can only push the date out by days/weeks/months. So what happens during a leap year?
The recurring date reminder feature would be great, especially in a CRM where we want to set reminders for clients’ birthdays.
@mike.bleyenheuft If you want to push it out a year, just choose to push the date by 12 months. If the client’s birthday happens to fall on Feb 29, I am not sure how the system would handle that however I assume this is an exception.
Hi @Enzneiderr , we recently launched a new app “Schedule Recurring Tasks” just for these types of purposes. You can set exact date/month when you want your task to repeat each year or month. Apart from that you can also set target group and status for the created item and also due date to x days post item creation date.
Since you can schedule recurrence per task level, you can easily accommodate birthdays for different people. The app also have option to notify you when the task is created, so you can enable that as well.
Please check it out here - monday.com: Apps Marketplace
