I have a user case to view all of the column details of a single item across multiple card view widgets in a dashboard. The problem I have is that the smallest this widget can be resized is 2 items wide so if the dashboard is filtered to only show one, half of this widget is just empty. I would like to be able to resize the dashboard card view widget to just 1 item wide OR what would be even better, is to have the same function to adjust the display options as the item card widget has.
Here is an example of the current situation - the standard board view showing items and details.
This is a snippet of the dashboard view that has been filtered to show only 1 item but the card view widgets cannot be resized any smaller than what is shown.
When I click into the item view I can create an item view tab with the widgets displayed like this (so there is no dead space)
And the item view settings allows for further functionality to display the item info.
What I would like to be able to do is have the same functionality on the card widget on a dashboard. I have mocked up an example as shown below - this way other widgets can be used like file gallery / maps etc alongside the card view details too.
