Hi monday.com Community,

I’m currently using the Workload Widget to manage our team’s tasks and capacity. However, I’ve encountered a challenge that I hope some of you Pros might be able to help with.

Use Case:

I need to allocate scheduled hours to team members in a way that is not equally distributed. Instead, I want to custom-select the hours assigned to each task for each team member. For example, instead of evenly splitting 10 hours across 2 team members (5 hours each), I might need to assign 7 hours to one member and 3 hours to another, depending on their availability and expertise.

Request:

  • Are there any insights or best practices you can share for achieving this with the current Workload Widget?
  • Can anyone recommend a marketplace app that allows custom hour allocation per task and team member, while also providing a comprehensive workload capacity view?

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated as it will significantly improve our project management and resource allocation efficiency.
