Setting start and end times for tasks in the calendar widget/changing the tasks' duration in the calendar

I’m using the calendar widget, and I have noticed that, when switching to week/day view, all tasks appear as 30 minute tasks. I would like to be able to change the tasks’ duration, defining a start and end time

This capability is critical for project management scheduling. The lack of it really limits Monday.com being a useful Project Management tool.

That is part of the body of work included in this which is already on the roadmap for development.

Thank you for the notification of the availability of MasterPlan Calendar. I see there is no Security & compliance information with regard to how the data that will be accessed (e.g. profile info of users, etc) will be accessed or protected by appSolution. What is that policy?

Hi @Terry.Heard @FerdinandoPH I also wanted to make you aware of another, free option available in the marketplace, :date: Calendar Plus, that also supports event durations.

  • It’s free
  • Event durations for items and subitems – just drag and resize
  • It can display multiple dates and timelines per item
  • Display your team’s or customers’ public holidays to plan around them
  • Milestone markers
  • Did I say it’s free?

We don’t display any extra column information on events just yet.
