Sometimes the files appear missing but if you click on the item the they are visible in the files gallery. Not a huge deal but thought I would report the bug.

I would also like to know why this happens. If a file is added in the files gallery within the item, it does not show up visually in the files column on the board. But if you upload the file directly into the column they end up in the files gallery, so I dont understand why it doesnt work the other way around? Did you ever find an answer on this @psperry ?
Is there a solution here? I’m struggling with this as well - files uploaded to the Gallery do not always appear in the Files column. This makes it difficult to scroll through an item list and see which docs have been supplied without clicking on each request.

It is a great feature to have files uploaded to any section of an item, be visible in a central location (currently files gallery). However, files gallery vs files columns is extremely confusing for typical users. The expectation is that if a file is uploaded in the files gallery, is should also be visible in the files column.
Can this please be standardized?
I was expecting that files that were uploaded to the files gallery could be attached to an email using Email & Activities. But that isn’t possible, which is an annoyance, because in my workflow, I add files to the gallery.
To be able to mail those files, I have to add - in my opinion - for us a redundant column.
