Status Change Automation and People Column Selection Options

Hello monday.com Community,

I am currently using the “When a status changes to something, assign someone as assignee” automation and would like to use a person/team set from another user column on that board. However, this automation only allows user selection from the master account/access list.

I know that there are other automations that allow for user/team selection from existing person, team, or people columns on the board. I believe that this automation will reap the full benefits of such an addition.

+1 from me. The same for column permissions. It would be nice if you can select a person/team selected in another column for automatons and permissions.
