I’m looking to connect subitems as being dependent on main items. I can’t seem to find a way to connect subitems to items for date dependencies. Is this possible?

The simple answer is no, not currently.
However, one alternative might be to have a subitem created for every item that is created that would basically contain the date from the parent.
Even that would need some additional work. But it is possible.
