Supporting guests on teams

@Galit-monday.com any traction with the dev team on this? Would be highly useful to help further compartmentalize communications as we scale the use of guests on our boards.

We have seasonal employees that we need to be able to multiple boards at one time instead of adding a guest one by one… Need the ability to be able to just add and remove them from a team when they are no longer active employees. They are not suitable candidates for being a member (like our full time employees have access to), they do not need those features or access, so the guest option has worked well for them. We NEED a better option to adding them to bulk boards and removing them at the end of the season easily. This would also simplify several automations and notifications. I feel like teams would simplify this greatly for us.

+1 upvote this one as well, we have a network of subcontractors that help us do our work and there are at least 20-40 different people for each subcontractor firm. This is becoming a maintenance challenge to tag them all to the right boards.

Would be a great thing if guest can be added to teams.
So we could filter the workload by teams.

Also ‘onboard’ with this request - the ability to group guests into a ‘team’ would be great :slight_smile:

This is an absolutely crucial feature for working with multiple external groups while maintaining operational security without a lot of manual labor.

We have multiple external groups that need to have their permissions closely managed so they cannot see one another’s IP. However, currently, when we add a guest someone has to manually update the view permissions on every item that is relevant to them. If they were instead assigned to a team, then the permissions would automatically be consistent throughout for various external vendors. Additionally, this prevents various guests from the same organization from having inconsistent data available to them due to being missed when adding permissions

Is there a way to know if this feature is about to be integrated to Monday soon?
this would help us a lot for our projects managment

Hi - It would be great to develop the functionality to add Guests into Teams. This will help make the day-to-day management of the platform a lot more efficient by consolidating a number of individuals into one manageable team. It will also give the third party greater visibility of their colleagues’ roles should someone not be available.

Please can this be urgently looked at as a development feature?

We want to invite our customers to Monday to be able to view the projects that we have under way. It gives our customer the ability to view the project in progress, and for us to provide complete transparency. That said, we do not want customers to be able to see other customers projects. To do this we need to be able to invite them as a guest, and add them to a team. Adding them to a team keeps people associated with their company only being able to view there projects compared to all of our projects. I realize this can be done by utilizing a different board, but we don’t want our staff having to switch between boards. We would need 20 different boards which only makes life much more complicated.

I believe being able to add guest to teams not only fixes a huge issue for us in Monday, but it also gets Monday exposer to hundreds of potential other customers. All of our customers are other companies.
