Updating status of an existing contact when importing new information via Form

Hey Everyone,

Really hoping someone could assist on this IF it’s even possible.

In Sales CRM I have a board for LEADS.
This LEADS board gets auto populated with new leads from our website via a form.

Once they register they get an email with a link to a webpage with a Monday.com form I made for further details about their project.
All this info then gets automatically imported into a sub-board called QUALIFIED in the same LEADS board.

Here’s my question… Is there a way to change the status of an existing contact (originally in the LEADS section of the board) so that it can be updated with the new updated info from the Qualified form?

Essentially, I’m having duplicate entries and ideally I’d like to be able to take a contact from one section to the next along the sales journey.

By “sub-board”, do you mean groups?
If so you can use the Duplicates and Uniques app to update the existing data.
