Hello community!
Past week I had a question so i wrote to Support.
Let’s imagine I have 3 tasks.
Task #2 is FF from Task #1, and Task #3 has a FF dependency from task #2.
In my team we are all Agile freaks so we have no restrictions, we all can move our work. Imagine I decide to pull task #2 but i need more time to complete it, 3 extra days, so i change the dates in the Timeline.
My request is: Can the owner/assignee/team assigned of Task 3 be notified that this move i did will likely to impact its work? In case there was a FS dependency, can the owner/assignee/team assigned of Task 3 be informed that they now have to wait 3 days in order to start working due to this action?
My main criteria is: it was highly positive that changes in timeline/roadmaps or task durations generate this warning information, especially when dependencies exist. This will help enormously avoiding Triple Constraint. Also, knowing who performed the change also increases efficiency and accountability and also helps up Project Manager to quickly identify the reason behind the delay and promptly start unblocking the road. Can you please have a look? Thank you in advance.
