What do most (small) companies use Main Workspace for?

I am trying to understand how experienced users utilize the “main workspace.” I am particularly interested in how a small company might best utilize the main workspace.

I’ve seen this used for a lot of front facing dashboards that the whole company can see a big picture.

Also seen it used for time off requests, etc. Basically anything company wide. Maybe if the ownership maintains quarterly goals for the company, they can go there.

Or if its a small enough company - everything!
