Ability to modify "location" column to remove state and country

Up until a couple of days ago, you could modify an address that auto-populates in the location column. For example, if 123 Main Street, Los Angeles, California, USA auto-populated in the location column, you could edit it to remove California, USA so that it just reads 123 Main Street, Los Angeles.

Now, this past week, the ability to make such edits is gone. I use the location tag in email updates to clients and business partners (I am in mortgage), and it looks very funky when the state and USA is included (since I only do business in one state). It would be nice to be able to edit this field like we used to - please bring this back!

upvote. I also have location info going to other places and the USA thing is such a bust

Hi Dan, Yoel,

While I can’t change the way the Location column works I can tell you that we’ve build an app for monday.com called Location Toolkit.

With this app, you can extract parts of a Location Columns address into a separate text column. This way you could setup the address in the exact format you need in your case.

The app runs entirely on the monday.com servers so your data never leaves monday.com.

Best,

Maarten
