My monthly task of opening the URL, saving the invoice HTML as a pdf and uploading that to our expense system could be very simplified if I could get the invoice attached as a pdf to the billing email. If that was the case I could set up an automatic rule to forward the billing email to our expense system - making me a lot happier!
Hi, @Oskr - The ability to add attachments automatically to outgoing email is coming soon - stay tuned!
Hi @PolishedGeek , has there been any development on this yet?
We also need that. Are there any news?
Super annoying to download the invoice every month.
Best,
Michael
I hope the dev team will address that issue soon. Currently, if our administration team wishes to download the invoice, they are required to log into the system. This process not only necessitates additional steps but also incurs extra licensing fees for access.
This was 3 years ago. What does soon mean?
Yes, this is possible with The PDF Maker (app.thepdfmaker.com).
The PDF Maker allows you to set up automations where data from various platforms (like billing or invoicing systems) can be used to generate PDFs, such as invoices. These PDFs can be automatically attached to outgoing emails, including billing emails—eliminating the manual step of converting HTML to PDF. You can also integrate this setup with your expense system by using tools like Make, Zapier, or native Monday automations.
Every new entry or event, like a billing action, can trigger PDF generation and email delivery.

Any updates @PolishedGeek ? 4 years in now… I have seen other, subsequent requests on this topic and not seen any feedback as such. @CXS please could someone look into these requests, it does seem like a really simple one. Thanks! : )
