Workforms should have the ability to automatically send an email to the client with their form submissions in PDF form - so its easy to read and to contain fields that they only filled out as most workforms have a lot of forms that are conditional and may or may not be applicable to client.
Hi @Ivy-TCT
You can use the app DocExport PDF Generator to create a PDF in your own design including information from a form response. If you combine it with the monday automation “When item created”, you can completely automate the process.
After a form submission, a PDF will be created, automatically attached to a file column and sent to the requester with your own email template.
Here’s a quick video tutorial of how to set it up. It’s for the use case ‘Event Ticket’, but it’s a similar use case with the same logic:
Yes, this is possible with The PDF Maker.
You can set up automations so that when a Workform is submitted, The PDF Maker instantly generates a PDF version of the submission. This PDF can be emailed directly to the client and/or stored in a file column in Monday.com for internal reference.
You have full control over what data appears in the PDF — you can exclude optional or irrelevant fields and include only the responses provided. It’s designed to keep communication clear and data organized, especially for client-facing forms.
Every new response triggers PDF generation automatically.
