The ability to have one press buttons on subitems would be useful.
We have a scenario where subitems create scheduling items and they start with a certain number of hours. Setting the resources and timeline consumes hours. If those dont consume all the hours, having a button to trigger something (webhook, app, etc.) that takes the remaining hours and transfers to another subitem.
Buttons are the perfect way to do this, but for now i have to use a checkbox, and reset it to unchecked using integromat (along with do the actual actions needed).
Buttons would be most usable, i realized the issues is that you cant create automations on the subitem board directly. So if its a subitem just make it a dumb button and let us create the automations manually. Using a “column changed” trigger has the same effect as button pressed.
For a bunch of one-click actions, to trigger automations or in the context of integrations to software such as Make, the button would be super useful on subitems. Completely agree that this would be a nice addition to have
Is there any plan to make this option available? We could really use this for our use case as we manage at the subitem status and this is a great way to create a simple automation of notifying people on that item when you are done. Please, please!!
Also requesting this feature, would remove A LOT of manual workarounds for us. Remember: vote for this feature at the top of the page if you would also find this useful.
