The email integration component of monday Sales CRM is not an effective solution for logging client email communication. Recently, we learned monday defaults to logging all incoming emails for contacts listed on our Contacts board.
This is a deal breaker for our use case, and we need better control of automatically logged outgoing emails also. We need some more granular control as the current the domain-based exception list is not a solution. The domain-based exceptions also excludes any multi recipient emails where one recipient is from the excluded domain - in our case we are hoping to block internal emails from our own domain, but then we miss the data from swathes of emails to external parties which also have internal parties CC’d in.
Any updates to this? This is also very important to us.
We are facing the same challenge, so I am adding +1 to this feature request.
It is now 2026. Any solution for this problem?
I only want to log certain outgoing emails, and I use the bcc feature. But then we are swamped with incoming emails that we cannot turn off.
This is a common limitation with the native Emails & Activities setup - once the same contact email exists on multiple items, everything gets logged everywhere, which quickly becomes noisy.
If you need more control over what gets logged and where, it’s worth looking at Email to Tasks for monday.com. Instead of auto-logging every email by default, it lets you selectively capture specific incoming emails and attach them to the exact item they belong to (lead, deal, project, etc.), keeping communication clean and contextual.
It works alongside Sales CRM, includes a 14-day free trial, and helps avoid the “email everywhere” problem without changing how your contacts are structured.
