Applying the same filter to multiple boards

I just noticed that this feature has now been released to my account. This is great news!

However, I also immediately hit a snag: For some reason the new feature doesn’t support Mirror-columns of the same name? Why is this?

For example, I would like to filter all tasks on 3 boards by “Market(s)”: On 2/3 of the boards, Market is determined by which Project a task is connected to (on another board, which is otherwise unseen) and is therefore mirrored. However, the mirrored column in question is otherwise identical to the Market(s) column used elsewhere.

(If it is possible for me to relay this feedback to your team in any other way than commenting here, please let me know.)

Hi everyone! Amy here from the monday.com team :waving_hand: I’m excited to share that the “All Boards” Dashboard Filter is now fully released!

You can now apply a single filter rule across all connected boards in your dashboard - no more setting the same filter individually for each board! Matched columns are set automatically when boards are added to a dashboard, and you can adjust these matches anytime in your dashboard settings.

Thank you again for your feedback, this was a highly requested update and we’re so glad to bring it to life!
