Assigne Person Using Zapier/Google Sheet

Hi,

I’m creating a workflow using a Google Forms/Google Sheets & I’m trying to assign the created item in Monday when the Google Form selects a Contact.

A question in a Google Form is asking our client who their contact is. It gives them a dropdown list of predetermined staff members (who use Monday).

Once the form is submitted it goes into a Google Sheet & I’m using Zapier to create a Google Doc from a template for format the answer nicely & then create an item in Monday.

I’m trying to assign that item in Monday to the person our client has selected in the dropdown list.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

You need to setup condition of person is damin then assign that person in persons column on monday. What is the issue right now you are facing?

Is the best option to create a filter of “Only continue if…” in zapier for each user?

hi, I have figured this out using =IF(REGEXMATCH in the Google Sheet to populate UserIDs based on Text entered & use the ID in Zapier to assign.
