I am looking to track the availability of a team members. So for example I have a team of 10 people. I am not sure what project they will work on yet for say 2025. But I do know the projects I have in Q1 of 2025. And I do know each person on team of 10 has a total of 4 hours a week for example for project work. So, I would like to add the 10 people and their available hours for their teams. Then as I start assigning tasks across different projects for that person, I can see if they will be over allocated, etc.
Hi @jcorrea - depending on how your tracking your projects, if at a portfolio/overview level (ie - one line per project), I would utilize the subitems of the project to assign estimated timelines for your team. This way you can easily pull this information into a Workload widget on a Dashboard or board view and see overall availability.
Hope this helps and if you ever need a hand reach out any time.

Thank you for your response. I am using the Scrum Team template in Monday.dev for Project Management. The ultimate goal for me is to add all my team members and with their hours allocated to the projects they are assigned to. Using the subitem option is a good idea but my team is not going to do that per task or item. So the idea for us, is the PM adds tasks, adds the estimate hours to complete and assigns (People) to the team member, given the task also has a task due date. I think with all this info, then the Workload Widget would have all the info to see it there.
