I advice to remove the board view and reinstall the app completely, when you remove the app all old messages and account details will be removed.
I have done it. still no luck. could you check internally?

Sorry, we checked it internally from outside and other users confirmed it’s working for them.
Try it from another user in your account.
Is this an alternative to Monday @Eiti ?
I’m moving from Clickup with the hope that Monday has a chat (team-level & one-to-one) feature available… Hope this is going to happen in a near feuture.

I don’t know, but isn’t “Update” the same as a chat feature in Monday? Unless you need a live chat tool. We use Workplace so, not a fan of Slack. Even Google Chat integration, might be a interesting solution.

Thanks for submitting this request and thanks to everyone who voted. While we currently are not planning on creating chat rooms for each individual board, we are working on developing a centralized place for communications on each board which will have similar capabilities.

What will it take to get this feature on the roadmap? Sometimes there are things to discuss that involve a much broader conversation than an item. Would be AMAZING to be able to have discussions/chats at a board level. Adding my voice to the mix in hopes of getting this some more traction.
This doesn’t seem it should be marked a solution yet. A lot of folks still interested in this happening.

There are a few different comments and ideas around this request and the need for more discussion capabilities around boards.
- Board level discussions are expected to be released in the coming months. With board level discussions you will be able to give general updates/ ideas and discussions around a specific boards.
-Chat rooms/channels are something we are considering for later this year but do not have plans for. We will make this as released but if you are still interested in furthering the request beyond board discussions. You can submit a new request for more specific chatroom capabilities.

I have spoken with a couple of Monday users, and we all agree on this.
Sometimes, finding a conversation with your team can be a little frustrating. Worst if we are working on a couple of projects at a time.
It will be good to have a general chat, where you can invite some team members and discuss a project. Or a general chat for any type of discussion.
Some of the options I received is to use Slack for communication and Monday for projects.
I think paying twice for a function that is obvious is needed, is not a solution.
Slack, Trello, Twist App; SAAS that are inferior to Monday has that function.
Love Monday, it’s a great SAAS, I hope the team works on this.
And please don’t make it an integration service and make us pay more for each member.

Doesn’t the board discussion support your needs? It works like the item discussion, except it is at board level.

Chat Central was just released to the marketplace: monday.com: Apps Marketplace and I believe would fit your needs well.
It’s a fully featured real-time chat app in monday.com that includes:
- Custom channels
- One-on-one messaging
- Message threads
- Reactions
- Gifs
- @ mentions
In addition, it’s deeply integrated into monday.com. It’s available in:
- Workspaces: A full-featured chat with custom channels and one-on-one messaging, which also allows for cross-organization collaboration
- Boards: Chat that can be added to a specific board, for discussions about the specific board
- Automations: Create a board automation, which automatically adds a message to a channel when an event happens in monday.com (e.g. an item is created/update).

Great idea about improving team communication on monday.com! As a monday.com partner, I completely relate to what you’re saying. This need actually inspired me to create an app called SecureChat Pro.
