At the moment the info boxes are not accessible via the API. If you’re looking to add text to a particular item, I’d suggest using the Updates section for that! Check it out: Updates Documentation
Now that it is official that API v1 will stop working, is there a date to make Info Boxes available in v2?
Can you tell me more about how you’re using info boxes? We currently don’t have specific plans to add Info Boxes to our API.
Overall, we recommend users move their work from info boxes to the updates section.

We use every pulse/item to represent a specific project. All of our projects have a specific set of links, literature/references that we currently put in the Info Boxes section. We put them there because we actually use the update section a lot for conversations, but there are some documents/links that we need to have more accessible (and all of these come from another system that we have, we connected them through the API). We tried using the update section and pinning the important updates to the top but it is just not as practical because you have to scroll down a lot to find the latest update, you can’t compress the comments to scroll quicker, and adding these documents/links into a column would make our board even more complex.

It sounds like a part of what you need is a better way to sort through a cluttered updates section, as well as a way to add organization so certain kinds of updates stay separate.

Hi @dipro, do you know if it will be possible to mutate the Updates?
I know you can create updates but can you modify an existing update?
I couldn’t find how to in the documentation.
I’ve noticed that the APIv1 is not working properly to change the infoboxes anymore so I am wondering if there’s a way I can move this info to the updates even if they are not easy to see or scroll.
As someone who uses Monday very heavily for a team of creatives, I can say that the Updates section definitely is not a good replacement for Info Boxes for the following reasons:
I really hope you guys expose Info Boxes to the API, or find an acceptable alternative that allows people to collaboratively update reference material within an item. This is 100% required for our entire workflow, and it would be a huge deal breaker for us if we had nowhere to put that information.

The info boxes have been deprecated.
Regarding files, what do you want to do with them? Are you talking about files in the files column?
Regarding notes, what are you referring to by “note” and what do you want to do with them?
