For the cross board automation, where it creates an item on a board when a person is assigned as task owner. Is there a part of the automation that shows what board it came from?
So, we are in construction and have a lot of the same item but for all different jobs. So when the item get created on the created on a new board, we can’t tell what job board it came from.
Am I missing that part somewhere?
Hey Brienne,
To track where your items are coming from, I would recommend to create a link column.
When you set up the automation, click on “item”.
The card view will then appear. In the link section, paste the URL of your board.
When a new item will be created in your other board, the URL of the original board will as well reflect allowing you to easily keep track of where each item is coming from.

Mine wont let me add a link? Do I need to have a link column set on either or both boards?
Yes you need to create a link column in the second board (the one you want the item to be created).
