You could customize the attributes/columns for a toDo Item. It can be connected to any item in any board so essentially the parent item becomes an attribute of a toDo item.

You can push any item to the toDo feature which would create a new task.

In any case, even without the ability to connect any item. It’s a great way to get mobile app usage where you have people managing all their tasks, personal as well, on the monday apps toDo section.
