I read older posts about unwanted supitems. And that there is no option to get rid of it once selected or created.
So now I have a board where I don’t use subitems. But somehow, accidentally subitems are an option in my dashboards. But I do not want this. It clutters all the options and settings as I am not using the Subitems.
Is there an option to do this without making a new board? Or it might my nice to make a setting so the subitem can’t be accidentially be made?
You might need to delete the existing subitems manually.
If you don’t want to to do it. go to dash board and hide or disabled subitem view. Customize your board views to exclude subitems. This way, they won’t clutter your main views and dashboards. You can do this by setting filters that exclude subitems or by customizing the columns displayed in each view.
Tis was the short term solution
The more efficient way is delete all subitems and then try go to setting and disables subitems options and save it as templates. Use Monday.com automations to manage and restrict subitems. For example, set up notifications to alert you whenever a subitem is created, so you can promptly address it.
