Duplicating items onto another board when item meets a certain criteria

Hi all,

I’m trying to set up an automation or something that duplicates an item onto one board when a certain criteria is met on another board. In terms of a live example:

On my ‘master board’, I have a group that lists all of the jobs / items the team are working on.

The jobs / items fall into different categories, i.e. email, brochure, landing page, content.

What I want, is that if ever the category of an item = ‘content’, i want to duplicate that item onto another board so that I can just have a content board.

And then, if the item is ever updated on the master board, the same updates carry through to the content board.

Does that make sense? I can’t seem to work out an automation on how to do this and have watched a couple of training vids on connecting boards too.

Any help would be massively appreciated!

In your master board automations, search for “another board,” and find an option that allows creating items under specific conditions and connecting them with another board. As such, when a job item equals ‘content’ on your master board, it automatically duplicates onto the content-specific board while keeping status updates synchronized
