Duration/Timeslots for Calendar

We are definitely in need of the ability to have per event durations recorded and visible in the Calendar View within our organization. Feature requests calendar
Currently I am finding that a default duration can be set, but we need to be able to adjust per event (item).
@TRB-monday.com I see this was expected to be released Q3 2021, with no further updates from monday personnel I can see. Can we get a current status? Are there any workarounds available in monday itself?

Any updates on this Q3 2021 feature AND the feature is needed to support time blocking (adjustable start and end dates-times) of Items AND Subitems?

Hello, Is there any update on this feature? We are considering migrating to monday but this is a dealbreaker for us if not implemented. Not to pressure anyone but please let me know then we can decide to migrate or not.

Iā€™m anxious for this feature for our company also. Once in place it will be far more realistic for our Commercial team to use calendaring in monday CRM. In the meantime it really hampers the usefulness.

We are also looking for this feature. It is a little disappointing the request has been out there for so long with what seems like no progress.

Check out Better Calendar View - It sounds like it may help with this. Among other things, it allows for creation of items with variable duration - From 30 minutes to 30 years if you like!

Iā€™m using the calendar widget, and I have noticed that, when switching to week/day view, all tasks appear as 30 minute tasks. I would like to be able to change the tasksā€™ duration, defining a start and end time

This capability is critical for project management scheduling. The lack of it really limits Monday.com being a useful Project Management tool.

Thank you for the notification of the availability of MasterPlan Calendar. I see there is no Security & compliance information with regard to how the data that will be accessed (e.g. profile info of users, etc) will be accessed or protected by appSolution. What is that policy?

We want to view the calendar view on a weekly basis for project and task management on our end. In there we can see blocks of time the team is busy on tasks and see if they have spare time to work on other tasks for the week.

Thing though, the current calendar view only has a fixed event duration for all tasks, and cannot customise it to differ per task. One task takes 30 minutes to make, but another task takes 4 hours to complete.

If possible to have that flexibility in the duration in cthe calendar view so we can easily see the capacity of the team throughout the day with time allocations put into place, that would be amazing.

We can use other calendar apps for this, but Monday having the feature to see it in a board, change status, etc + calendar view would be perfect if this was possible.

I would like to create an event calendar with the calendar view. Each event has a date and time and a specific duration. I noticed that the actual calendar view allows me to create only eevnts with a default duration. How can I change the duration and see it in the calendar view?

Hi @manallarte !

So unfortunately this is not a current feature within Monday.com. I believe that the default value is there regardless of the duration within the event.
