Email inbox in Monday.com

Is there a way to have our whole email inbox inside of Monday so we dont need to flick between Gmail or Outlook and Monday?

I think there is a way around it…

You could follow this steps (for gmail, but other services may be similar):

  1. Click on the integration icon (top right), in a blank board (dedicated to this inbox project)
  2. Search this integration recipe:

  3. Click on Use Template
  4. Setup the email account permissions
  5. Complete the integration choosing filters (you can leave it blank, this way all emails will become items in the board - it could be overwhelming)

  6. Then select a group to “receive” the item / email. (You can use filters to create items in different groups by sender or subject - you will need to create more integrations recipes).

This will create an item for every email received, and you can treat’em as tickets if it suits you (it’s the way I use it).

Ok… It is not as dynamic as an inbox … But the email content will show as an update in the item (kinda, sometimes the message is broken) … And you can assign labels to each, to better track’em. But, to reply using the Monday item… Can be a little tricky, it’s possible but… I think it’s not trivial.
