Wondering if anyone was aware of any type of work around for an integration to automate the sending of an email based on the status of a subitem? At the moment, I don’t believe that Monday has this abilities and all emails have to be sent out via the main pulse status. A work around for this may be to assign an email address with the creation of a new item, then automating the sending of an email to the previously assigned address but I can’t seem to find a way to do this? Anyone have any ideas?
While we don’t have an integration recipe specific for subitems, you can achieve this through the use of an automation to change the status of the item when the subitem status changes:
This can then trigger the integration to send based on the parent item:
