Expense Report Template Communicate with Budget Plan Template?

Is there a way to allow the sum in the Expense Report template to inform the Budget Plan template? I like the granular tracking of the expense report, but I need it to update the overall budget.

you can use automations to automatically update the Budget Plan template when the Expense Report template is updated.
For example, you could create an automation that triggers whenever a new row is added to the Expense Report template. This automation could then calculate the sum of the Total Expense column in the Expense Report template and update the Total Budget column in the Budget Plan template accordingly.
