My use case is this one: I want like to link an item to multiple customers, so I could use a dropdown with the list of customers, or a tag with also the list of customers.
The idea is to be able to display a table group by customer, and also a Kanban view by customer.
Group by seems limited to label, and label is limited to a single value.
How can I solve this issue?

At this stage, the dropdown isn’t supported in the group-by feature, I am sorry for the setback 
That said, I am interested if you might already have a pre-existing contacts board that you could instead connect to your current board, to link to those items? This will allow you to connect multiple contacts to those items, and also group-by the connect boards column…

Yes this is correct - whilst you can group by the connect boards column it isn’t currently possible to group by the mirror column. Sorry for the inconvenience Bruno - I will share this feedback internally!
Unfortunately the Group By on the Connect Boards column (item title) doesn’t work, please try to do it and let me know
Thanks for getting back to me Bruno… I did some digging and this function only works when configured with max 1 link per item… does this help explain why you might be encountering an issue? If not, can you please share a screenshot with me?
