There’s no native way to do that unfortunately. When I moved our team to CRM earlier this year, for our main customers, I printed to pdf certain email chains and attached them as files.
You might also look at systems such as make.com to see if it’s available there?
hi @Rego91 ! Right now, monday CRM only syncs emails starting from the moment a contact is created. Anything sent or received before that is not imported, and unfortunately there is no native way to backfill historical email conversations. Other CRMs like Pipedrive support retroactive syncing, but monday does not.
If you need to add past emails to a contact’s timeline, a practical workaround is using Email to Tasks for monday.com. It allows you to:
forward or BCC any older email or entire thread into Monday
attach it directly to the correct contact, deal, or item
preserve the original email timestamp
include attachments
keep the conversation grouped as a single thread
avoid Monday auto-logging the same email across every item with a matching address
This essentially gives you the ability to import historical email communication, which Monday CRM does not offer natively.
