We’re a small team running a content-heavy project, and managing deadlines, translations, and updates can get messy. We started using monday.com to structure our content workflows, with separate boards for research, writing, and publishing across different languages.
We created custom statuses for “Research”, “Drafting”, “Editing”, “SEO Review”, and “Published”, and used automations to move tasks when statuses change, saving us a lot of manual tracking time.
Curious to know:
How do you manage your content workflows on monday.com?
Do you have board structure suggestions for multilingual content?
For context, we run a content project called NetBSD.info, and monday.com has been a game-changer for our small team.
I don’t deal with multilingual content, but what about using another status column for the language and then tying automations to both statuses ie if status is X & if language is Y, then do Z?
I do exactly the same and I don’t see other way to do it.
More problematic I would say is when you get datas from different languages and you want one language in the end to make a report for example.
You need then to set up an automation for every status or dropdown label the needs ti be changed to the one dedicated language (when an item is created and status is voiture then change status to car)
