Link to internal server location (folder)

We need a way to link to a file folder on our server (not just to attach a single file).

There are options to link a URL (link column) and to attach files directly to Monday. I would like to be able to place a link on an item that leads to a folder location on my company server (open a windows explorer). This could be as simple as altering the code for the link column to allow opening of a windows location. Adobe for example accepts a weblink entered as “file:///” followed by the internal location which leads to the directory location, not directly opening 1 file.

Hi There! I do have a work around for everyone.
First: Right click on the folder or file you want to link, and select send a link to this folder

This is meant to send via Ourlook, but it also allows you to copy the link.

Then you can paste that into a link column.

Is ZeeDrive something that is part of Monday.com? I don’t have this right click option

SOrry about that Mark. I forgot that this was a Zeedrive function. Zee Drive is what we use to share local folders through multiple users, and connect to Office 365. Sorry again.

If you do not have zeedrive you could try linkyourfile.com
It is a windows and macos extensions that can create https links to local / network files and folders without uploading the files / folders.

When you click on the https link it will open the file in the application or a folder in the explorer on windows or finder on mac if available locally.

Have anybody found the solution of this issue? I also want to link my folders with Monday so it can be up to date.
