Lookup Boards

Hi,

I have boards which collect certain types of data. A board for timesheets, bills, etc.

Each item in these boards has a Project # Column.

I’d like to have an automation or workflow similar to this:

When an item is created/changed,
Find board name that contains value from column Project #
Create item in that board
Link both items using connected board column.

The ‘Find board name containing’ part followed by ‘create item in that board’ is where i’m stuck.

Anyone know a way around using workflows/automations or even an app in the marketplace that might do it?

I don’t know of a way to do it with workflows or automations that are native to monday. However, I checked make.com and I see this option (I’ve not tested it)

I was hoping to be able to do it through monday. Its a bit more flexible for our staff to implement and make changes to over time.
