Mirroring groups between boards

HelI have a main private admin’s group which i’d like to control all the workers from, I dont want the other workers to see this group.
and I like to have a board to each worker.
I want the workers board to two side mirror his group on the admins board…
i’d appriciate the help… thanks!

If I understand correctly, you’d like to have projects/tasks on a main “admin” board. You’d like to assign items to your team members, but manage the permissions so that your team members don’t see all the information on each item. Is that correct?

If so, here’s a couple of ideas:

  1. You can set board settings so that team members can only view items that they are assigned to. You can also restrict viewing permissions on specific columns. You can do this by hovering over the column you’d like to restrict, then clicking on the three dots. Then, go to column settings, and select “restrict view”.

  2. You can also set up a dashboard for each team member and filter the dashboard to only show the items and columns you’d like them to see and interact with. Then, each team member will only need to go to their individual dashboard to see everything they need to work on. We’ve implemented this type of system with several clients before because of the simplicity it offers.

Hello Tanner,

The first option you mentioned sounds right, I want to restrict my team members to see only what they are assigned to. Can I do that on the pro plan? I got an error message trying to do that…

It also sounds like the second option could work, but im not sure how to do that… I’d love your help for that…

  1. This particular feature is an enterprise feature, but you can restrict members from editing only items they are assigned to on the Pro plan. If you click on the three dots at the top right of the board, then click on board permissions, you’ll see these options:
