Question - what features does Monday Dev offer that are not available in Monday WM? I have been unable to find a clear answer (even when I asked Monday directly)
When I look at the features list, it’s basically the same as WM. I don’t really see any specific features that I can’t achieve in Monday WM except for maybe the Burndown Chart? Everything else seems to be buildable in WM. I understand that it comes with pre-built templates/connections between the various boards but I can do that with WM so I am wondering if there are any features outside of WM - for example I know Monday CRM has mass emailing and a couple other features unique to CRM but I am not seeing that with Monday Dev. Am I missing something?
the group by feature used to be included with dev, but that is now a general global feature I think.
There are a couple other views like the Roadmap Tracker, Velocity, and Planned vs Unplanned. There is the Git UI widget too, as well as Item Description widget (basically a per item monday doc in a item view)
There is also the buttons on the tasks board for starting a sprint, etc.
Been using Dev for about 9 months after having Work Management for awhile - I think one of the big differences is the integrations that come with this product: GitHub, GitLab, and the sync with those directly within the agile framework in Monday.
The other thing that you cannot get with Work Management is the start/stop sprint and the burndown chart directly integrated with Dev.
Lastly, there are more agile templates/setup within Dev that are not there to the same extent in the templates in Work Management. Many of these you could recreate, but it is a little easier to start off with their full agile/sprint templates.
