I’m running into a bizarre issue where the automations I have set up to send deadline reminders, assignment notifications, new work request submissions, etc., are not actually sending, but the automations activity panel says they have. What’s weird is the notification is the only part of the automation not working. Has anyone run into this issue before? Screengrabs attached for reference
We ran into this issue after making changes to the board notifications. As it turns out, if you want “Kurt” to be notified, either he has to be assigned to the item or he will need to have “Receive all notifications” selected on the board notification settings. You should also make sure Kurt has the selected to receive notifications from automations on his notification settings (located in the user profile sections).

Thanks for this answer. This is frustrating, Monday can be noisy so many people have shut off or reduced their notifications. Automations like this should pierce through that, we can’t tag anyone from an update via an automation so there’s no way to get through to people. Guess we’ll have everyone turn their notifications on and try to coach everyone on usage…changing habits is more difficult than just slapping an automation on though.
