Persistent Active Timer Widget Visible Across All Pages

My team migrated to Monday from Accelo, and earlier Teamwork, and something that we have been sorely missing is the “sticky” time tracker feature.

In Monday, when you start a timer, it activates in place, and when you go to a different board or project, you can no longer see that you have a timer running. While I know about the Running Timers widget, it seems bizarre to our whole team that one would need to navigate to a specific dashboard to see if they have a timer running, rather than having a persistent widget or notification to instantly show the user that a timer is running, regardless of where they are in their Monday interface.

The main reason for requesting this is that some on our team (including me) like to have timers running in real time, rather than logging time after the fact; this is mostly because of forgetfulness and wanting to make sure we have the most accurate time tracking possible. However, this often leads to overlapping timers, leaving timers on overnight, or not realising we hadn’t started a timer when we thought we had.

To help illustrate the request, I have recorded how this feature can be used on Teamwork.

Thanks!
