Recommended Workspace and Board Hierarchy for CSM Use

We are having some difficulty deciding how to structure the hierarchy for where the boards should be housed and who should have ownership of them as it relates to;
CSM’s daily use and functionality of Monday.com, vs. the future scalability of our Campaign Management process.

Think scaling to 100 CSMs, 3,000 Clients, the set-up process and the day-to-day maintenance involved for each potential method listed below. I’m hoping that you all can weigh in here providing any insights. We are also open to any suggestions for different solutions?

  1. Everything lives in the “Campaign Success” Workspace (CSMs do not have their own Workspaces)
  •     Dashboards
              * A High-Level Dashboard that allows for slicing and dicing of All Clients Metrics
              * CSM Level Dashboards that allows for slicing and dicing of each CSM’s Entire Clients
                Portfolio Metrics

  •     Offers Board
              ~ CSM Level Views isolating each CSM’s Portfolio of Clients

  •     Client Folders
              - xyz Client Folder
                   ~ xyz Client: Phase 1 Board
                   ~ xyz Client: Phase 2 Board
                   ~ xyz Client: Phase 3 Board
                   ~ xyz Client: Client View Board

  • - Campaign Success PMO Board or Folder

  • - All Campaign Success Templates Folder

  • - Campaign Success Knowledge Library Folder

  •      - Etc…

Each CSM has their own Workspace which house;

  •      Dashboards
             * A High Level Dashboard that allows for slicing and dicing of the CSM’s Entire Clients Portfolio
               Metrics
             * Dashboards that allow for slicing and dicing of each CSM’s Individual Client Metrics

  • Each CSM has Client Folders for the clients they manage
              - xyz Client Folder
                   ~ xyz Client: Phase 1 Board
                   ~ xyz Client: Phase 2 Board

                   ~ xyz Client: Client View Board

  •    ~ Ongoing Tasks Board (non-client specific)

Hi @Sparkos,

Great use-case question.

The options you listed are great! As a CSM, in my experience, I suggest creating one workspace (“Campaigns Success”) for all general boards/dashboards so everyone will have access to it. In addition, to allow CSM to open their own workspace to house private materials/boards (ongoing tasks/1:1 meetings/personal initiatives or projects, etc.).
