I am still learning the features of Monday.com and I feel there is a simple solution to what I am looking to accomplish.
I am attempting to set up an employee schedule when employees will be present and working. Your typical work schedule. We are a smaller non-profit and our paid employees can basically choose their own hours of when they will be working. The employees would have to be able to enter their own hours and view the hours of other employees.
I initially set up a board that has a calendar. I have it set up so the employee can enter their name, their status (Working, Work From Home, Off). I then sent up a timeline columnr and they can put the dates they are off.
I now want to change this calendar to show working hours. I am thinking of dropping the “Timeline” column and making it strictly a date so the employee would have to enter their status each day and somehow add their hours (9am-3pm), etc.
I wanted ask here to see what the most effective way is to set this up. I do not want employees to have to spend a great deal of time entering their hours if there is a better way to do it.
